Part One For our team meeting, our team began by completing the group activity from module 10 of OLI. We had one observer taking notes of points, and everyone else choose a role to play as. The problem was the fact that we wanted to do a highly technical digital game, but with the carnival starting in two weeks, there was not merely enough time. We ultimately came to a compromise to reuse an wooden maze created in the past, but enhance it with more hardware to make it more engaging and exciting.  For the Final Research Video Project Planning, our team decided on the different areas we will discuss about how AI detects cyber threats. We then decided to divide the research up and created a PowerPoint so we can all add the information to our slides. We have agreed on a deadline so we can begin to put everything together and get our recordings together. The process went relatively smooth as we all agreed on the timeline set. Part Two Review ted.com video reflections "The danger of AI ...

Part 1: Help Your Teammates to Develop Capstone Ideas I shared with my teammates that I am mostly interested in doing something regarding Internet of Things (IoT) for my Capstone. It would be a fun project that can combine my passion for electronics and programing alike. Specifically, creating an smart irrigation system to prevent waste of water and perform the task more efficiently. To do this, the system will factor in the weather of the past, present, and future. The system should consider factors such as how much of an overcast there is and wind levels, as that will also affect how moist the soil is. It was discussed that it would also be helpful to use sensors in the soil to also detect the current moisture level and account for it. If feasible, it would also be cool to have sensors that detect nitrogen, phosphorus, and other levels, essential to the health of plants. That way, it can notify the user if there are any deficiencies that should be handled.   Part 2: Keep Up With ...

Part One: Support and Comment on Teammates' Goals  Flavio Raquel Part Two: Possible Capstone Ideas  I want my capstone project to be something that has meaningful applications in our current world. There are three possible capstone projects I might choose to do at the end of my study: 1. AI-based sign language translator : This application will have the ability to convert sign language gestures into text or speech for those who do not yet understand sign language. My intent with this is that I can help eliminate communication barriers.  2. AI crop disease detection : This application will allow people to take pictures of their plants, that do not appear to do well, and detect what the problem might be, then offer possible treatment. My inspiration for this is when I first started a hobby for gardening and I would come across various issues that required extensive research to find out if I am overwatering, my plant is deficient of certain nutrients, etc. On a larger scale,...
